At Campus Esbjerg, the University of Southern Denmark offers an international graduate exchange programme built on the research areas which are in focus at the Department of Environmental and Business Economics situated at this campus.
The core of the programme is business economics and business administration with courses focusing on the organizational and marketing challenges in and solutions to developing enterprises with related methodological topics. In addition, you can choose a range of courses in environmental and resource management and sports and event management. Environmental concerns are increasingly important for businesses and the sports and event sector is a significant player in the economy. Therefore, there is a demand for managers possessing knowledge and skills to deal with the special challenges related to these areas.
The courses combine theory and practice, giving you the opportunity to build a solid theoretical basis and acquire practical tools that are useful in working with the subjects in your future career.
The courses run across four quarters and use a combination of project work, group work and lectures. If you follow courses of 7.5 ECTS each, you should follow a minimum of two courses per quarter, to obtain a workload of 60 ECTS per year. You are free to combine courses as you like to create your own profile, and you can stay a quarter, a semester or a year as you prefer. Below, you can see examples of programmes within the three areas. You can see all the courses offered at our website.
