The study programme focuses on the implementation of major and minor changes in both society and the business community. You receive a through introduction to relevant areas of study, such as change management, human resource management, industrial sociology, organisational psychology, and project management. In addition to a strong technical/academic foundation, you will acquire good managerial skills that you can apply in your employment.
You can also choose from various elective subjects, such as Entrepreneurial Management, Change Communication, Power and Management, Knowledge and knowledge management, and the corporate project – thus influencing your study activities in concert with your own desires.
Academic year
The academic year is divided into two semesters, each comprising 15 weeks of instruction. Instruction for one semester will typically involve about nine 45-minute lessons a week. An information meeting and icebreaker event for new students are held at the beginning of the academic year.
The autumn semester starts 1 September and ends just before Christmas. The spring semester starts 1 February and ends around 1 June. Exams are conducted in January and June respectively.
Methods of instruction
Instruction combines lectures, seminars and case studies, assignment work and group work.
An international perspective is an important element of our programme, and we give priority to including the most significant recent research theories and findings from the international research community.
