Response from industry

Success from the very first day
- It all started with two interaction design students, Anne and Lene, who did their internship here – this proved such a big success that the two engineers are employed in the company today!
From day one they have made a difference, because they have a far more in-depth approach to interactions between machines and humans than the mainstream engineer. The design that Anne and Lene made during their internship is actually the one we use today.
Popular in the company
Anne and Lene now work daily on the incorporation of user friendliness into many of Saab’s products and are much sought after throughout the company. To me, that is a huge success. They have really given the user interfaces a graphic boost, so that the design matches user needs.
Poul Andersen, Project Manager, Saab Denmark A/S
She brings the user into focus
- At present, Miriam is doing her internship here and she participates in my projects and consultancy tasks. That is working really well. Among other things, we have been working on a specific project involving a new product for the medical industry. Miriam has worked on user friendliness and design and has planned and carried out user participation. Through evaluations using quick prototypes she has carefully examined how the user interface should be operated and designed.
To me, Interaction Design students are enthusiastic and committed employees with a passion for user friendliness and they understand how to drive the design process.
