With the Business Economics programme you will be able to handle most tasks within the economic field.

The course is primarily directed towards a business orientated career, but there are also plenty of opportunities to work in the public sector and international organisations.
Project manager, consultant, senior economist, financial advisor, budget administrator, controller, investment advisor, director and senior partner are some of the titles that may end up on your CV.
This is what employers have to say about the education
I think that the establishment of the Business Economy line is an interesting and exciting initiative. Along with other types of education, it leaves the students with a solid foundation which makes them able to complete the MSc Business Administration and Auditing programme which is an essential part of the feeding chain for chartered accountants. The combination of analytical skills and professional specialised knowledge is crucial to chartered accountants who are often to match top managers with analytical and academic backgrounds. I wish the University of Southern Denmark the best of luck with the new line. I am sure it will be successful.
Charlotte Jepsen, CEO of the Association of Chartered Accountants.
In ALOC we develop software to the financial market. Because this presupposes an intensive financial professionalism combined with a high level of technological know-how, I welcome the Business Economy line. The combination of a mathematical/statistical foundation and a sound insight into disciplines such as financing, accounting and supply chain management, are high on our list for future employees.
