On the bachelor programme you can choose between a profile in nanotechnology, embedded control systems, or dynamic mechatronic systems.
Imagine that your project group must solve a complicated technical problem for an international company where you must take into consideration the environment, economics, the technological possibilities, and last but not least the end user.
Or that you have been appointed Head of Development or Sales or CEO. You are at a meeting with your closest employees discussing the strategy for next year’s focus area, development of existing products, new products, new markets and staff training.
With the English language engineering programme in Mechatronics you will have every opportunity for landing the job of your dreams.
Product and technology development
With a degree in mechatronics you will be able to develop advanced industrial products – from idea to product launching. Therefore, you will learn to combine technologies such as mechanics, electronics and software and to work in project teams with departments in marketing, design, manufacturing and logistics.
You can choose one of the below three profiles:
• Nanotechnology
• Embedded Control Systems
• Dynamic Mechatronic Systems
You can continue your profile on the master programme.
Master of Science in Engineering (bachelor and master)
The bachelor programme is a three-year programme where you will learn about user-oriented creativity, innovation and business. Read more about that under the structure of the programme.
After the first three years you study for two years at master level to get the full MSc in Engineering degree. At the master programme you can focus on the academic fields that interest you the most.
Project work and company problem solver
You become part of a project based and problem based study environment where you work in project groups.
You and your fellow students:
• Are responsible for planning and carrying out the project
• Must work together and meet the deadlines
• Solve problems for companies
• Have your own project room.
In the sixth semester you will write your bachelor project – often in cooperation with a company.
Learn more from the students themselves.
Jobs that makes sense
With a degree in Mechatronics you will have a range of job opportunities – in Denmark and abroad. Among other things, you could set up your own company or be employed as a development engineer, project manager or researcher.
Graduates who have completed this bachelor programme are entitled to use the title of Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering (Mechatronics).
