As other university programmes, the Law Programme is divided into the three-year Bachelor programme, BSc Law, and the two-year Graduate programme, MSc Law.
The bachelor programme
The three years at the Bachelor programme consist of six semesters of teaching. A semester is typically 13-15 hours per week, including a certain number of practical assignment lessons.
The year is divided into two semesters of 15 weeks of teaching. The autumn semester starts on September 1st and ends just before Christmas. The month of January is reserved for exams. The spring semester starts on February 1st and ends about June 1st. The month of June is likewise reserved the exams.
Many continue to the Graduate Programme
The majority of students complete the full 5-year Law Programme, which is also a precondition to be admitted as a lawyer, for employment at courts and the prosecuting authorities.
