There is a need for you
Today, the Arab speaking countries play an important role at a global level, but also in this country Arabic has become one of the largest minority languages. For these exact reasons there is a need for persons who know the language at a professional level when municipalities, hospital services and social authorities require language assistance. Internationally, there is also a need for the combination of Arabic and communication. For instance, these competences are needed in the Danish Defence, in the EU and in international organizations.
Prepares you for the real life
Through collaborative projects with different companies the study programme prepares you for the reality that will become your working place. A thorough understanding of language, communication and organisational culture equips you to manage various tasks in the labour market. Also, you get the opportunity to design your own professional profile through your elective courses.
Meet the world
In addition, you get to see the world during the 3rd year of the study programme where you can study at either an Arab speaking university or at a language school. Not only do you truly get to know the culture and the language, you gain an essential knowledge in the area, and it is a chance you cannot miss.
Arabic is not a prerequisite
Even though teaching takes place in Arabic already from the middle of the 1st semester it is not a prerequisite that you already speak the language.
