The bachelor programme in Economics and Business Administration is a general course which can be profiled through choices of profile. While some parts of the programme and the general competences are equivalent at all university campuses, you are able to profile and tailor your studies to match your interest and future career prospects.
At Campus Esbjerg you can choose between three different profiles within economics and business administration. Our profiles have been developed on the basis of requirements from the business world and the academic expertise at the Department of Environmental and Business Economics which is responsible for the profiles.
At Campus Esbjerg we offer the following profiles
- Sports and Event Management focusing on sport and events, but with the same general competences within business administration as you get on the other profiles
- Business Development in Practice is focused on small and medium size business management. You will be closely associated with a company. Several of your assignments will be student projects made in collaboration with this company
- General Business Economics where you will go deeper into the business economic subjects and work on projects within financial management and marketing
The BSc in Economics and Business Administration offers a broad introduction to business economics with courses in marketing, organisation, accounting, business management and finance. The teaching takes place as lectures, exercises and projects.
The BSc in Economics and Business Administration qualifies for the MSc in Economics and Business Administration and the MSc in Business Administration and Auditing. In Esbjerg we offer the profiles Marketing and Innovation and Sports and Event Management.
