The education lasts three years and gives access to the MSc in Economics and Business Administration and the MSc in Business Economics and Auditing. Within the programme, there is opportunity to choose between a selection of specializations depending on the campus offering the programme. Applicants holding certain AP Degrees and meeting the entry requirements can finish the education within 18 months.
The programme runs across six semester (3 years). The programme comprises 180 ECTS - 60 per year. 1 ECTS corresponds to about 27 working hours for at student. The structure of the programme is the same across the campuses at University of Southern Denmark. However, the structure is flexible and allows many possibilities for you as a student. You can choose between several specializations - which depends on the campus in question. In addition, electives are a part of the programme and in many courses, the exam is in the form of project work - where you are free to choose the subject of your project. Finally, you can choose to study at a university abroad in the fifth semester. At the front page for the programme, there are links to special pages for the specializations at the various campuses.
The numbers in the figure below shows the number of ECTS allocated to each course. The courses marked with * have an external co-examiner at the exams. The courses marked with ¤ are a part of the first-year exam. As a student, you must take part in these exams within the first year of study and the exams must be passed within the first two years of study. The specific contents of the courses named "speciliazation courses" and the courses written in italics in the figure below may vary across specializations. Read about this on the pages for the specializations. If you have a two-year AP Degree, you may be eligible for the special credit course of study and go through the education within 1½ years.
