The PhD programme at COHERE
COHERE offers a PhD environment which is unique by being broadly founded at the two faculties of Business and Social Sciences and Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. Thus, our PhD programme is naturally anchored in the two PhD schools for Health Sciences and Social Sciences, respectively.
Besides, we collaborate on PhD activities with a broad range of actors, including university hospitals, private and public research institutes, government boards, etc. COHERE regularly open new PhD positions, which scholars are encouraged to apply for; see the vacant positions page for recent calls.
While aiming at PhD research at the highest international level, we offer a strong professional as well as social environment, including PhD supervision, PhD study circle meetings, conversations with seniors on a regular basis, PhD courses, seminars and social events.
To ensure a continuous and well anchored development of the PhD activities, COHERE has appointed a proactive PhD coordinator, who closely follows and participates in the coordination of PhD activities, and to whom questions regarding PhD study matters can be addressed. The present PhD coordinator is Professor Jørgen T. Lauridsen.
