Marcel Bogers of the Mads Clausen Institute receives the teaching award from the BHJ Foundation.
Last Friday, the BHJ Foundation handed out several donations and awards to the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg. Among the recipients was 31-year-old associate professor Marcel Bogers of the Mads Clausen Institute, who received the foundation's teaching award of 50.000 Kroner.
Marcel Bogers was awarded for making classes on the engineering program Innovation & Business more exciting for the students. Marcel has introduced small research assignments and more case studies, where the students themselves are active.
The foundation granted approximately two million Kroner to students and staff at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg.
