The Mads Clausen Institute offers state-of-the-art knowledge and access to direct collaboration with students, PhDs, and researchers.
The Mads Clausen Institute’s overall focus is on mechatronics, with strong backgrounds within nanotechnology, innovation & business, and user-oriented design. Its research activities are carried out in close relationship with companies and their cluster organisations in Southern Denmark. These activities cover the entire value chain from fundamental research via applied research and product development to different industry-oriented collaborations.
As direct access point for companies and research institutions, MCI TECHNET provides direct access to the institute’s facilities and equipment, and assists in finding the right contact person in connection with projects, advice or other requests.
MCI is located at Alsion - a magnificent, architectural setting for the institute’s research, which is divided into the four research units Mechatronics, Nano- and Microtechnology, Innovation & Business, and Design & Innovation.
