Institute of Clinical Research collaborates with a large array of local, Danish and international partners. These activities are organized from by individual research groups or research centres/initiatives with the aim to further research, education and sharing of knowledge.
Research centre or – initatives
Research centres or – initiatives are established on the basis of a contract or protocol with one or more external partners. Tasks, obligations, action plans and timelines are negotiated between the faculty, institute and the partners.
OPEN
OPEN, i.e. Odense Patient data Explorative Network, is a new research unit established to further research at Odense University Hospital and & Svendborg Hospital with regard to expertise, facilities and equipment to collect and store biological samples and clinical data in clinical studies and cohorts as well as access to national and regional databases.
OPEN supports an array of research projects with the explicit aim to invite local, national and international collaboration throughout the research process. In this way we hope that researchers may address not only their primary objective but also use unique or large data-sets to address additional issues as well.
