Institute of Clinical Research is on of six institutes at the Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Southern Denmark.
The institute comprises
38 research units in relation to the departments of Odense University Hospital.

We will
- sustain and develop Institute of Clinical Research as a research institution with an visible and decisive impact on patient treatment.
We achieve this by
- educating and performing research at a high international level within areas relevant for prevention and treatment of diseases
- communicating research to the general public, professionals and decision makers.
Our strength is innovative clinical research on selected diseases that burden the patient, population or the society with an aim to understand their
- pathophysiology,
- occurrence,
- treatment
combining advanced biomedical and epidemiological research with clinical trials.
