Research

The research at the department covers a variety of subjects within business and economics and is organised in six research units. The research is both theoretical and empirical, but the use of economic theory and quantitative methods such as mathematics, statistics, econometrics and computer science characterises most research projects.    

It is our goal to conduct research at a high international level as visualised through publications in leading international journals. Educating PhD candidates to the highest standards within the research areas of the department is another important objective. Furthermore, as we believe that research results should be made accessible to a broader audience, we give high priority to dissemination activities.
