The collaboration between the University of Southern Denmark and the Region of Southern Denmark should be developed and strengthened – and for the county hospitals this is done by means of the Institute of Regional Health Research.
The research at the Institute of Regional Health Research is organized in four regional research centres and three research units.
The research is performed by employees at the county hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark and the Region of Zealand.
Support to the employees
The regional research is based at the University of Southern Denmark through the institute, and it is performed in accordance with the Health Research Policy in the Region of Southern Denmark.
The collaboration ensures that researchers and employees at the hospitals have access to a support function (infrastructure) at university level such as competent guidance and research support.
