About REPS PhD courses
REPS offers intensive courses for PhD students of both general and specific nature (in Danish and English). These courses are of approx. five days duration and are either run by REPS alone or in collaboration with other bodies. REPS also provides different types of seminars for both PhD students and advisors.
If courses are over-subscribed, PhD students affiliated with REPS will be given first priority.
Working with researchers, the program will work towards creating advanced courses in sports-related research. REPS also aims to create and maintain a positive social environment that also provides a relevant professional network for the PhD students.
Responsibility for running the courses lies with the arranging department, with administrative support from REPS. Efforts will be made to ensure that these courses are distributed among the sports departments at the three universities. Similarly, efforts will be made to ensure a balance between the Medical/Life Sciences and the Humanities/Social Sciences regarding the number and financing of courses offered.
Interdisciplinary courses are considered an attractive approach.
