The Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering operates in the field between the intensive research of the university and the industry.

At the Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering we are engaged in both the classic and the modern engineering fields. Our core competences are within the areas of Civil Engineering, Structural Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Global Network Manufacturing and Product Development and Design.
We are currently undergoing an exceptional development of our research and educational profile to ensure that our research and teaching activities also in the future will match the high international standards. We give high priority to research, interdisciplinarity, applicable and project oriented teaching and cooperation with the industry.
The Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering was established in 2007. Almost half of the students at the Faculty of Engineering are engaged in our study programmes.
