A ressource for the teachers at SDU
The E-learn Support Center is a service for teaching staff at SDU who wish to use digital learning tools in teaching and take advantage of the possibilities in e-learning pedagogy.
How can you use the E-learn Support Center?
- Get ideas and inspiration. There can be ways of addressing your problem that you have not thought of. The Support Center coordinates e-learning activities at all SDU departments, and is up-to-date with the newest trends on an international level. Take a look at our best practice archive.
- Get technical support, on simple as well as complex problems. We make it easy for you to construct your teaching the way you want it. Take a look at our Toolbox.
- Get pedagogical support.
- Participate in Workshops and courses.
- Find literature on e-learning.
- Borrow technical equipment (video cameras etc.).
What is e-learning?
E-learning is many things. We find a broad definition useful: e-learning is teaching or teaching elements that integrate digital learning tools based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology). If you combine e-learning with traditional face-to-face teaching, it is called 'blended learning'.
If you want to use e-learning it does not necessarily imply that you have to change everything in a course. If most of it works well, keep it! Start by considering if part of the course worked less well the last time you did it? In that case, it may be a good idea to consider using alternative teaching methods here.
E-learn.sdu.dk harbors multiple facilities that make it possible to plan your teaching in a way that activates the students in new ways. At the same time, you get more flexibility for you as well as for students.
