Dorota Szelewa is the new postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Welfare State Research (CWSR).
Dorota has previously been employed at the University of Bremen. She completed her doctoral studies at the European University Institute in 2009.
Her research interests comprise the questions of family policy and childcare, especially in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
She has published articles devoted to these issues in Hungarian, German, Polish, English and French, and in journals such as Social Politics and Journal of European Social Policy.
At CWSR Dorota is conducting a research project comparing family policies in six EU countries: the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, and Sweden.
