Lecturer Training Programme 2015 winter

  • The compulsory components of the Lecturer Training Programme are concentrated in two residential courses (one 3-day course and one 2-day course) supplemented by a range of open courses in university teaching methods. Each participant is required to choose open courses equivalent to at least 2 ECTS credits.

  • In addition to this, the lecturer training programme includes supervision, a course in e-learning and a project in university teaching methods. During the programme, the participant will produce a teaching portfolio, which will be a tool for self-reflection throughout the programme, and which, at the end of the programme, will serve to document teaching qualifications (see the syllabus for the university lecturer training programme).

  • The Lecturer Training Programme starting winter 2015 will be held in English. The working language of the two residential courses will be English. However, the colleague supervision groups will be composed to provide English speaking as well as Danish speaking groups. During the residential courses, all presentations and plenary discussions will be in English, whereas group work and presentations will be in either Danish or English. Danish speaking participants should consequently be prepared to work in English for joint activities during residential courses. Likewise, parts of the information meeting as well as parts of the conclusive poster session will be in English. All other activities will take place in the language of your choice. Danish speaking participants has the possibility to take part in open courses held in English as well as in Danish as they choose.

Applicants who want to participate in a course held in Danish should apply for the course that starts in August 2015.

Each course opens with an information meeting. During this meeting the participants are informed about the purpose as well as the content of the university lecturer training programme: They will also be given an opportunity to meet course participants who have just concluded a lecturer training programme. Furthermore, the participants will have an opportunity to meet the external supervisors.
