The Centre for Tourism, Innovation and Culture takes the social sciences and humanities approach as its starting point, and its activities are intended to promote multidisciplinary understanding and development.
The centre’s research is based on humanistic (cultural, historical and anthropological) and social studies (commercial, socio-economical, sociological and politological) approaches. Simultaneously, through its activities, the centre aims to promote multidisciplinary understanding and development through its activities.
Initially, the centre takes as its point of departure the research plans of contributing institutions. As part of the common centre activities, a more integrated research plan for the centre will be developed.
