SPIRE
The newest research centre at the Mads Clausen Institute, SPIRE, are concerned with research in participatory innovation in collaboration with social scientists, human scientists, local industry and the theatre group Dacapo
The Mads Clausen Institute at University of Southern Denmark recently received dkk 21.500.000 from the strategic research committee. The fundings will be used for a new research centre for participatory innovation with professor Jacob Buur as leader. All together the budget of the centre will be around dkk 50.000.000 for the next five years.
The centre will research how to involve users in the development of new products. Amongst the employees are engineers, anthropologists, linguists, designers, marketing researchers and consultants and actors from
Dacapo.
