The main purpose of establishing the centre’s alumni association is to create a forum for sharing experiences how to pursue and build up a professional career with a university degree in Middle East studies. We aim to bring former and current students together in order to exchange perspectives and build networks, but also to spend enjoyable time together. The alumni association will also arrange meetings in which innovative research on contemporary politics, culture and society of the Middle East will be presented. We plan to host annual meetings.
