The Danish language is hard to learn – even for Danish children. At the Center for Child Language, we research how children learn language.
The Center for Child Language is the largest research- and development environment in Denmark that works with Danish children’s early language acquisition. We document how Danish children learn language, and investigate the processes that are necessary for language acquisition. We research, for example, the factors that hinder or support language acquisition, and the aspects of Danish, which pose a particular challenge to young children.
