It can be of great mutual use to have a PhD student (researcher in training) connected to a private or public company, and within CESFO’s research areas there are several PhD-students employed by the University of Southern Denmark that are both directly and indirectly connected to a research project, a cooperation partner or generally to the department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management in Kolding.
There are more options:
- Be a PhD student at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management (IER) within on of the department’s many research areas. – If you want to know more please contact Head of Department Torben Damgaard or Department secretary Dorthe Krogh.
- Be a PhD student connected to a research project – employed by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management, but with a project description within a defined externally funded project, where research is done in cooperation with a project group. – If you want to know more please contact Centre Manager Per Freytag or Head of Department Torben Damgaard.
- Be a Business PhD employed by a company, but with a strong connection to the university, where up to half the working hours are spent. The purpose of the Business-PhD initiative is to educate researchers with insight in the business aspects of research and development, to promote development opportunities for Danish Business life and build network for knowledge exchange between companies and research institutions. For more information please view the Ministry homepage or contact Head of Department Torben Damgaard or project coordinator Susanne Feldt Jørgensen.
