Cooperation

CAST – short for Centre for Applied Health Services Research and Technology Assessment - was founded in 1999 with the purpose of facilitating collaboration projects between the University of Southern Denmark and the world outside.

CAST cooperates with a wide range of partners, e.g.

• The National Board of Health , under this their unit for Monitoring and Health Technology Assessment Enhed for Monitorering og Medicinsk Teknologivurdering (EMM)
• The Ministry of the Interior and Social Affairs , under this Servicestyrelsen
• The recently established Regions in Denmark
• Hospital units
• The recently established large municipalities
• The industry in Denmark, under this the pharmaceutical industry
• Private organisations such as  The Danish Cancer Society; Kræftens Bekæmpelse and the Danish Diabetes Association; Diabetesforeningen (only available in Danish).
