The Biomedical laboratory arranges courses in laboratory animal science and in experimental microsurgery. Both courses are approved as PhD-courses.
The course in laboratory animal Science is compulsory for those wishing to obtain their own project license. The course at the Biomedical laboratory is approved by the Ministry of Justice for this purpose. Every year the course is held in weeks 34 & 35 (end of August), whereas the course in microsurgery is held in week 40 each year (beginning of October).
