But what is a Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM) Engineer? He/she is an expert in strategic business development and management in a global context. Supply Chain Management across borders and cultures becomes increasingly essential to small, medium and large companies as more and more manufacturing processes include several sub-suppliers across the world.
The GMM Engineer is a specialist when it comes to keeping the perspective and optimising the different stages of a manufacturing process to allow these stages to interact in the best possible way within the company as a whole. This is something the GMM Engineer masters, because he/she understands how to acquaint him or herself with different cultures, business relations and all the other factors that vary in the global world of business.
