NANO at TEK

Nanotechnology at the University of Southern Denmark is spread over various groups within the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Main actors at the Faculty of Engineering are the Center NanoSYD and the Nano-Optics group at the SENSE Institute.

Focus areas of the work at the Faculty of Engineering lie in the research and the development of future sensors, optical applications, microfluidics, energy solutions and plasmonics.
Besides these groups there exists a number of research groups that focus more on biological and chemical aspects. These groups are located at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
