In this edition of LOM the focus will be on mobile technology as a facilitator and driver for learning and educational development at universities.
Mobile technology is an expanding area and smartphones are widespread and in rapid growth. 43% of all Danes had a smartphone at the turn of the year, and an increasing number of students put their money into iPads, ebook readers and other digital gadgets. This gives new challenges and opportunities for university teaching.
Contributions for this issue can be pedagogical, organizational, technological and/or strategic considerations concerning use, development and implementation of the technologies and research of e.g. the effect and spreading. This issue will focus on the technology and its characteristics as a framework for teaching and as a driver for university development.
