The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) offers wireless internet access to staff members, students and guests from other educational institutions which are part of the Eduroam cooperation. Below, you will find links to a list of Danish institutions, which are currently participating in the cooperation, and to Eduroam’s homepage.
There are two wireless networks at SDU:
- ”SDU-GUEST” – mainly for guests. You can get a guest account in the Conference Office, or from the person who has invited you to a conference.
- ”Eduroam” - described below.
Eduroam is a safe and encrypted wireless internet access for staff, students and guests. Staff members can use the Eduroam-network if they want wireless connection to their network drives and administrative systems.

You only have to log onto the Eduroam-network the first time you want to use it; the operation system will automatically remember your username and password.
If you need assistance to connect to the Eduroam-network, please contact Servicedesk
Eduroam is now established on all of SDU´s campuses (except SIF in Copenhagen).
Logging
Please note that any use of the wireless network is logged. All authentications are logged. This means that both users and computers are registered. Guests from other universities, which are connected to Eduroam, will have their authentifications logged at their home institutions.
