We manage resources
The University of Southern Denmark's Project andf Development Department is responsible for project functions and service's connected with completion and implementation of new digital solutions seen in a holistic-perspective.
The department takes projects, where projects are defined as unique temporary tasks with a series of linked activities, a specific objective or final result with a start - and end time.
In such projects the Department has the responsibility for the project management and the coordinating tasks as well as putting resources at the disposal of the projects.
We find solutions
Focusing on development and production the task of the project department is to act as cooperation partner and coordinating unit.
Increasingly University of Southern Denmark needs to establish new cross-disciplinary solutions, where IT-systems make up an essential part. In these solutions development of new working procedures and organisational adaptations with special reference to new technological solutions must also be taking into consideration. The department works with solutions, which have a cross-disciplinary perspective and break with the present organisational boundaries.
