The International Office does not allocate placements, but to the right you can find links to relevant places to search for an internship.
If you get credits, or if the internship is part of your bachelor project or thesis, you can apply for a travel grant through one of the following programmes:
Erasmus Placement Programme
Erasmus placement is a part of the the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme. The programme supports students who choose to do an internship abroad as part of their studies. The grants are awarded by the International Office, and the amount varies from year to year. Usually it is between 250 - 350 euro per month.
The following conditions apply:
The placement must be carried out in an LLP country, ie. the European Union, Iceland, Norway, Turkey, Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
The training cannot take place in EU institutions or in embassies or other official representations of your home country
The placement must bring credits to your degree
Before the internship, a Training Agreement must be signed between you, the company and SDU. You can find this document as well as the application for internships here.
The grant amount varies from year to year, but usually it is between 250 - 350 euro per month.
Other internships
If you take an international internship outside the Erasmus Placement programme (e.g. at an embassy), you can apply for a travel grant from SDU's Internatinalization Fund - if it is approved for credits.
