In collaboration with Odense Municipality, the CareerCentre introduces the Student Job Initiative to ensure that as many students as possible at the University of Southern Denmark will be able to find a student job in a local company.
The system is built up as a kind of marketplace where students and businesses will be able to establish contact with each other and make arrangements regarding student jobs.
Student jobs will be published in the Jobbank, and on top of this a wide range of companies have agreed to receive unsolicited applications from students who are interested in finding a student job.

- The purpose of the initiative is to provide relevant work experience for students and ultimately improve competitiveness and innovation in local businesses, says Janus Krarup, Development Director of Udvikling Odense.
The Student Job Initiative applies to all students and therefore includes both Danish and International students.
