As a new student at SDU you should order a Study Card as soon as possible!
The Study Card provides access to several facilities at the University of Southern Denmark, and is needed for printing and for applying for exam’s.
It also gives you access to The University outside normal business hours and you must use it as legitimacy card in connection with the exam and stay at the university.
So if you haven’t already done it, then please order it now at www.sdu.dk/studiekort. You will need the username and password that you received with your admission letter. If you haven’t got these information you can contact the Admission Office - email optag@sdu.dk or tlf 65501051.
When you use your card for the first time:
When you receive your student card it is important that you make a personal four-digit PIN code for the card.You run your card through the card reader. (There are card readers at almost all entrances at the University. ) When you run your card through the card reader for the first time the reader will ask for a new four-digit PIN code. Then you push and reconfirm your personal four-digit code.
The card is used for:
- Identification card (University of Southern Denmark)
- Access card (ADK card)
- Examination identification
- Copycard
It is recommended when accessing SDU with an ADK card that NO unauthorized persons are let into the building.
