If you are considering buying your own computer and/or software, please note the following recommendations and minimum requirements. The requirements ensure that you can use your own IT equipment for digital examination at SDU.
Recommendations for student computers:
- PC: Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9 browser
- Mac: Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7 with Firefox browser
Minimum requirements for student IT equipment:
- PC: Windows XP SP3 (unless you are using Exam 4 – if so, Vista is minimum). Internet Explorer 8 browser
- Mac: Mac OS X 10.6 with Firefox browser
- 2 GB RAM required for SDU Scribble
