When you apply for accommodation through the University, The International Office will apply for a room for you in one of the student residences in Slagelse. Most students are placed in “Ungdomsboligerne at Bredahlsgade”
Ungdomsboligerne at Bredahlsgade” are situated two minutes walk from the University and close to the town centre with shopping facilities and the life of Slagelse. The surrounding area has green open spaces.

Rooms:
We have two kinds of student flats, one- and two-room-flats. The one-room-flats have 24 m2, while the two-room-flats have 39 m2. Two students can share this kind of flats.
The rooms have separate shower and toilet as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
Furniture:
All rooms are furnished with a desk, a bed, and a closet/wardrobe. Lamps, curtains and a small table are also included.
Applying:
The University of Southern Denmark guarantees accommodation for all students. You need to send in the accommodation form telling us whether you want the University to find you accommodation or not. It is IMPORTANT that you read the terms carefully before signing and sending the form.
To get accommodation through the University, students must have applied for a study programme at SDU Slagelse and have filled in an application form for accommodation before 1 June.
