All PhD students at the Faculty of Engineering are enrolled in the PhD school and educated under one of the faculty's six research training programmes:
The research training programmes (RTP) are interdisciplinarily anchored in each its own research training committee (RTP committee).
The RTP committees academically assist the respective research training programmes in terms of construction, operation and development of the academic studies within its academic field. The RTP committee's role is also to advise the PhD School in academic matters and to furnish and set professional issues for consideration by the faculty PhD committee.
