Evaluation plays an increasingly important part in the modern knowledge society. If you have a job, or you want a job, which focuses on evaluation for instance within the social, health or educational sector, the Master's degree programme in evaluation is the obvious choice for you.

During the past few years, evaluation has been institutionalised due to legislation, evaluation centres and organisational procedures. At the Master's degree programme in evaluation, you will gain a thorough knowledge and insight into how public sector grants are analysed, assessed and changed through evaluation. While following the programme, you learn how to analyse an evaluation, design and implement an evaluation and yield qualified applications of evaluations. Not only will you become acquainted with evaluation, you will also develop skills to help you work with result oriented governances, monitoring, auditing, contract control, quality development, self-evaluation as well as the publication of evaluation documentation.

Generally, there is a wish for basing public policies on knowledge and evidence as well as more specific organisational recipes, including evaluation. Within specific areas such as education, health and the social sector, there is a great demand for qualified evaluation experts. The Danish municipal reform will also bring about an upheaval in terms of evaluation. Furthermore, evaluation has become an important aspect of consultancy companies and international organisations.
