Participant and qualification profile
Business Administration Part 1 is a broad two year business economics undergraduate programme which is completed part time. The programme gives you a solid theoretical foundation and a number of methods of business economics to analyse problems and develop qualified solutions. You can make use of the knowledge you acquire as a Business Administration student in your current job, or use it as a starting point when pursuing another career.
A large number of students embark on the Business Administration programme with a high school certificate or a Higher Commercial Examination. Others have a degree, but feel a need to elaborate on this.
Common to all Business Administration students is their shared job experience and their lack of theoretical knowledge to strengthen their skills. Most students complete the entire programme and others upgrade their knowledge by following only a few courses.
Business Administration Part 1 is a recognized, independent, qualifying programme, entitled Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. This means that you will get a diploma after you have completed the first part of the programme, which you may use when applying for jobs. A Business Administration Part 1 Diploma allows you access to all Business Administration Part 2 programmes.
