This diploma programme in business communication is aimed at those who have practical job experience and wish to obtain theoretically based, practice-oriented academic qualifications while remaining in full-time occupation.
Part II of the diploma programme in business communication in one foreign language qualifies you to perform tasks requiring foreign language communicative competence in the business economics, technical, and legal domains.
You will study the foreign language you studied in Part I – English, German, or Spanish - at a higher level, and you specialize by choosing either the Translation (ED-O) or the IT-based text production specialization (ED-IT).
The Translation specialization comprises the following subjects:

- business language
- technical language
- legal language
- diploma project
The IT-based text production specialization comprises the following subjects:
- terminology II
- text production
- technical language
- language technology
- diploma project
All the subjects of the diploma programme in business communication may be studied separately. If you pass all the subjects comprised in Part I and II within a period of 6 years, you will receive a diploma from the University of Southern Denmark.
