"Acts, administrative orders, legal decisions and similar official documents are not subject to copyright. " (Copyright Act § 9 )
This means public documents of an official character.
You may use the following on Blackboard.
- Administrative correspondance and notes.
- Laws, legislative history, etc. which has been published in Folketingstidende, Lovtidende and Ministerieltidende.
- Legal decisions and official decisions from boards and councils.
- Reports and plans from committees and commissions set up by public authorities.
But remember that the processing of public documents in, for example, law report collections with annotations and comments is copyrighted.
Also, public publications of a general character are not covered by § 9, but are copyrighted like ordinary works.
