TV and radio programmes
You may copy and save TV programmes (DR, DR2, TV2, TV2 regional). Contact Medieværkstedet for more information.
You can place the material on elearn.sdu.dk.
You cannot copy movies produced for cinema, even if they have been shown on TV.
TV and radio stations are putting more and more of their products onto the Internet (on demand). It is tempting to use small snippets of programmes from their websites, but though these materials have been converted to electronic formats and are available on the Web, they can still not be copied to Blackboard without permission.
Use links to these websites instead.
Movies
If you work on Campus Odense or Campus Esbjerg, the MPLC agreement permits you to show selected films that you have bought or rented, during your class sessions.
MPLC represent more than 400 producers and distributors of movies. If you want to be sure whether a certain producer is covered by the agreement, contact MPLC: info@filmlicens.dk
NB: If you work on one of the other campuses, you need to contact the copyright holder for permission!
You can rent movies for use in class sessions from Nordisk film vision
There are also materials that can be used for free in your teaching. The Internet Archive has many older movies with free access.
For further information, please contact Line Kronqvist Jensen or Jens Dam at the library.
