Your Library at Campus Odense

There is again physical access to the library for all users. 24/7 access: Students and staff at SDU have access all day to the libraries via student card/employee card.

Operating hours: Monday-Friday: 8AM - 4PM.

Note on Operating hours:
The library is not staffed on the following days:  Constitution Day (5 June), Christmas Eve's day and New Year's Eve's day. Weekdays between Christmas and New Year - Dec. 27th to 30th  (incl.):  10.00AM - 1.00PM. Remember : 24/7 access for students and staff throughout the Christmas holidays.
The only time the Library it is closed for 24/7 access is on the Friday of the university's annual celebration, where the library is locked from noon until next day.

Campus library administrates the loan of books and journals not only from its own collections but also from all the collections of the University Library of Southern Denmark. The library also deals with requests for material from other libraries at home and abroad.

In addition to user guidance and the provision of literature, the library’s work includes the selection, acquisition, classification and cataloguing of books and journals. A publication exchange programme is maintained with other research institutions and the department for faculty library service provides a range of services for the university’s department libraries in Odense. Finally, the library is engaged in research.
