Postdoc position
Department of Political Science and Public Management
University of Southern Denmark
At the Department of Political Science and Public Management, University of Southern Denmark, a one-year position as postdoc is available within the field of international studies and with a particular focus on international security. The position is available from July 1, 2010 or earlier.
A successful applicant should be able to contribute to work and discussions along one of the following dimensions:
- Human security issues in the management of global threats (from nuclear proliferation to climate change)
- Small wars and counterinsurgency
- Transatlantic security relations and the future of NATO
To qualify for the position, applicants must have a PhD degree in Political Science or another relevant PhD degree within the Social Sciences. The successful applicant will obtain excellent conditions for advancing his or her academic profile. The Department expects in return a commitment to open scholarly exchange and innovation.
