- "Energi på havet", Work Package 10. Projektperiode: Juni 2010-Juni 2012
The purpose of this WP is to investigate households’ (i.e. consumers’) adoption of green electricity and to analyze consumers’ knowledge of, perceptions of, attitudes towards and willingness to pay a premium for green electricity. The investigation comprises four subprojects.
a. Modeling the diffusion of green energy in the five Danish regions. This research will apply an extended version of the ‘Bass new product growth model’ to build a forecast model to provide estimates of how green electricity may be expected to penetrate the electricity markets in the five regions. The input for this model is data from each region showing the number of new subscribers to green energy per year or half year for as long a period as possible.
b. An investigation of factors influencing early adoption of green energy by Danish households. Is it possible to distinguish between and characterize early adopters, late adopters and non-adopters of green electricity?
Input data for this research would be a survey of Danish households.
c. A study of the relations between consumer concern, knowledge, perceptions and attitudes toward green energy and the environment. Input data would be a survey of Danish households.d. An experimental study of consumers’ willingness to pay a premium for green electricity.
- "MarBioShell" Work Package 7 ((Price formation on the European market for mussels, and consumer perceptions and preferences for mussels), slutdato for projektet juni 2012.
