Admission Procedure and Application Deadlines for Exchange Students
Admission for undergraduate/bachelor programmes at the University of Southern Denmark.
Please read this guide for the admission process thoroughly:
1. Identify the study programme/s you wish to apply for at the University of Southern Denmark (USD) or other Danish Institutions of Higher Education. Find the admission area code on the www.sdu.dk website or in the pdf below:

2. Prioritize all study programmes you find interesting at Danish Institutions of Higher Education 1-8, 1 being your first choice and 8 your last.
3. Fill in a priority form if one of USD’s study programmes is your first choice. If USD study programmes are second or lower priority, you just need to send the form to the institution offering your first priority stating all your priorities 1-8 regardless of the institution, use only one form for all priorities.

5. Fill in one application form for each prioritized study programme and send it directly to the institution where it is offered. All priorities regardless the institution must be stated in the form. All priorities 1-8 are handled and evaluated at the institutions.

7. Enclose important documentation for each application form, if you have 8 priorities you must send these documents to all 8 prioritized study programmes before 15 March 2010, 12.00 o’clock. If you send your application later, you will be considered in the second round intake.
8. Important information to enclose:
· A preliminary school record in native language and English version if you finish secondary education this summer
· School record and final diploma in native and English version if you have graduated from high school
· Amount of hours (60 minute) per week in the final three years of high school in mathematics, history/economics, English. For engineering studies: mathematics, English, physics and chemistry.
· Any supplementary material, i.e. English language certificates, university studies etc.
· NON-EU applicants (except applicants from the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or Great Britain) MUST submit a TOEFL iBT test min. score 88 or an IELTS test min. score 6.5 overall band. (for more information visit www.toefl.org or www.ielts.org)
